Solution:

Set "ISDBGACTIV" to activate debugging as follow:
ISDBGACTIV=LIGHT,HEAVY export ISDBGACTIV
kill –HUP <Application_Server_pid>
Then run the client utility to get the debug information.
Exemple: autorep –M ALL
you should be able to see the log output in app server log
