Virtual Analyst Upgrade from 17.3 to 17.4

Hi, 

does anyone know if the Service Desk Upgrade Installation Utility upgrades the Virtual Analyst from 17.3 to 17.4 incl. configuration and data (trained model) or does this need to be handled manually and the VA be retrained ? 

This is not clear to me after studying the techdocs concerning upgrading to 17.4

Hi Armin,

Virtual Analyst is an independent component and the installation utility doesn't take care of installing VA and hence doesn't write/rewrite any existing files. Your existing installation(17.3) should work fine with 17.4 as well. If you're installing Virtual Analyst for the first time in 17.4, the existing installation documentation still holds good.
