$Univers Reporter Issues

Dear all,

We have configured $Univers Reporter on our environment, but we are having a problem. [ERROR] 15 Mar 2023 09:53:45 [pool-3-thread-7] com.orsyp.reppub.server.util.CryptoUtility - Error decrypting the password.

com.orsyp.crypto.StringEncrypter$EncryptionException: javax.crypto.IllegalBlockSizeException: Input length must be multiple of 8 when decrypting with padded cipher.

We have entered the username and password correctly.

Are we missing something?

Can you specify when this error occurs?

Reporter config is generally
- Reporter installation which can be seen in the node list as a type = Reporter
- Reporter installation is connected to a database to store data, this has connection info which is seen in node settings and requires a user/pass
- Reporter also requires to connect to a UVMS which is seen in parameters on the node settings on Reporter, this will require some sort of admin login to the UVMS
- Reporter will also require a user with reporter role privileges in order to create reports

have all these components been set up and if so when does the error message occur?

Problem solved.
I changed the password and everything was OK.
