To add to the details shared by Sheenam, we are also working on exposing actions API for raw alarms. This is a little involved (and hence taking longer) as some actions like 'Acknowledge' behave differently when dealing with Alarms from different sources Ex. UIM vs Spectrum vs 3rd party.

Hi Adeesh
We are exploring the use of Annotation, a api request to automatically update "feedback" from external applications. seems like a logical place for automatic updates and user/operator notes.
Thanks

Hi Christo,
That is a very good use case, thanks for sharing. We will let you know once the API work for raw alarms is complete.
Meanwhile, i would also encourage you to explore Custom Situations. This feature lets you group alarms based on certain criteria, and we support all actions around it, including writing back to annotations from an external tool. Ideally, customers should be dealing with groups of similar alarms (a.k.a Situation), vs individual raw alarms. If you are on SaaS, this is already available, if you are on-prem, then pick up the latest version of software 22.1.
