Hi!

Since CABI is not needed or as officially described "there is no dependecy between Operator Console & CABI anymore" is it save to remove the Server running it, and all of cabi?

I found a KB How to uninstall and then reinstall CABI probe in UIM 20.x

which I would start, but without the "reinstall"-part

We do not, and havent ever used cabi in anyways, only installed because we were forced to do so, therefore no one will miss it in our company, and we reduce a useless Server, which fast get out of mind and could be a security-risk only by his existence.

Is there anything what I forgot and I have to keep the cabi, or is it safe to do as described in the KB?

cheers
Matthias

Hi Matthias,

Yes, it is 'safe' to remove the CABI server/CABI via a complete uninstall.

Just to be clear, note that you will lose Cabi 'Dashboards' and Cabi 'Custom Reports' but it appears you're not using them anyway.

Best Regards,

Steve
