Hi Team,

[Producet]
CA Privileged Access Manager 4.1.2

[Question]

Our customer asked me about how to get a list of the "Configure a Password View Policy" for each account.

I found the following description in the Ver.4.1.1 manual.
   https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/symantec-security-software/identity-security/privileged-access-manager/4-1-1/protect-privileged-account-credentials/set-up-password-composition-and-view-policies/establish-password-view-policies/create-a-basic-password-view-policy.html

Configure a Password View Policy
Follow these steps:
Select Credentials, Workflow, Password View Policies. The Password View Policies panel opens, displaying a list of existing password view policies and their properties.

However, in the V.4.1.2 manual, the description of "displaying a list of existing password view policies and their properties." is deleted as shown below.
   https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/symantec-security-software/identity-security/privileged-access-manager/4-1-2/protect-privileged-account-credentials/set-up-password-composition-and-view-policies/establish-password-view-policies/create-a-basic-password-view-policy.html

Configure a Password View Policy
Follow these steps:
Select Credentials, Workflow, Password View Policies. The Password View Policies page appears.

Please let me know if the "displaying a list of existing password view policies and their properties." function has disappeared in Ver.4.1.2.

If delete this function, I don't care about the method, so please let me know if there is another way to display "displaying a list of existing password view policies and their properties.".

Best Regards,

Hello, initially you are asking about a list of password view policies (PVPs) for each account. There is no list. A target account has one and only one PVP assigned. I don't understand what your concern is with the missing text. This was redundant. The list of policies is found on the Credentials > Workflow > Password View Policies, period. No need to explicitly state that the list you see on that page is the list of password view policies. The title of the page makes that clear.
If your interest is in retrieving a list of configured password view policies programmatically, rather than viewing them on the PAM UI, you have two option:

1) Remote CLI command searchPasswordView Policy.
2) Rest API resource "GET /api.php/v1/passwords/viewPolicies.json". You find this documented in the PAM UI on page Settings > API Doc under "passwords", and you can try it out there.
