  • 1.  Unable to upload attachment using employee role in OS Linux

    Posted May 30, 2023 02:41 PM

    Hi everyone,

Some of our users use Linux OS and when they have to upload an attachment with the employee's role, the error below appears:

Error message: Upload failed - AHD11022: The file name or path may be corrupted with a relative path. Check and try again.

This error only happens in OS Linux. On OS Windows runs normally.

    OS: Ubuntu 22.04
    Browsers: Google Chrome 113.0.5672.92 - 64 bits e Mozilla 113.0.1 -64 bits

Any one know how to solve this error?

Becase Ubuntu (debian fork) doesn't work on CA SDM Web client.

You can try on  Red Hat Operational system.

Futher information the offical link: Can't attach files using employee interface on linux environment

    Hello Felipe,

First of all, thanks for your reply.
So, based on your information, I tried it with Fedora OS (Red Hat fork) but got the same error. Do you know that I have to do some specific configuration?

    Thank you again.

You should open a case on CA Broadcom, can be  CA Service Desk version x OS web client version.

    Hello,

The aforementioned KB Article "Can't attach files using employee interface on linux environment" pertained to an older release of SDM 17.1, which has been out of support for some time now.  Please verify if you are seeing this issue with attachments access while running on a currently supported 17.3 environment prior to opening a support case.

    Hi David,

I'm on 17.3.0.12 version. I opened a support case for this error and I got a replay that that OS Red Hat is not supported, so the case was closed without investigation. Is this corrected?
