Security requirements to properly deploy software, scripts execution and other tasks

    Hi,
The current customer environment went into lockdown mode, to meet PCI DSS Certification.
but, this also means a lot of rules to prevent remote shell, remote execution, etc, and the list is growing every day.

Could we have a Broadcom issued document with minimum requirements to properly keep Client Automation in a working status?

I mean, what would be required to be up and running and/or at Active Directory level, implemented, allowed, enabled to keep the Software Delivery deploying software, Assets josb running, remote scripts, etc?

I really appreciate any comments and recommendations to properly address this issue.

    Hi Harold,

I am not aware of any official document.

Client Automation is not dependent on Active Directory, but many customers use it to define the role based permission for the users of Client Automation.

Once the Agent is deployed the only thing needed is that the ports remain open for communication with the Agent.

RPC is only needed if you are initially installing the Agent remotely using the DM Deploy option.

    Rgds,
    Steve.
