  • 1.  Security Notification Update: CVE-2022-33756

    Related to our Security Notification issued on June 9, 2022 (Support Content Notification - Support Portal - Broadcom support portal), specifically CVE-2022-33756:

    We are aware that the recommended remedial steps (configuring the v12.3 Automation Engine and all agents to local_remote) require a lot of effort and, therefore, have decided to release a hotfix for the Automation Engine and Agents to have an additional and more straightforward method to remediate this vulnerability.

    Development of this hotfix is currently in progress, and we will provide an update as to its availability via Broadcom Community, as well as an update to the security notification. An ETA will be announced as soon as a firm date has been identified.

    12.3.9 HF2 was released yesterday and can be downloaded from the Automic Download Center.

    The Security Notification issued on June 9, 2022 (Support Content Notification - Support Portal - Broadcom support portal) was updated accordingly.
