Thank you for your answer, I will also try to push to have at least "best effort" support on Hyper-V using my channels...

I have yet to find a hypervisor that did not work for PAM (tested virtualbox, kvm, vmware workstation, parallels desktop). Its built on Debian Linux, so if a hypervisor supports Debian it will probably work. You may need to extract the virtual hard disk from the .ova file using 7zip (or any other untar tool) and manually configure the virtual machine.
That said, as you noted it would be an unsupported configuration. I have encouraged product management to offer "best effort" support for PAM on all hypervisors. This would mean that we would fully support PAM on any hypervisor up to the point that the hypervisor is identified as the cause of a customer's problems; however as of today the only supported configurations are those that are documented.
I cannot comment on the roadmap since I am not on the product management team, however I haven't heard any discussion hyper-v support. I would not recommend running a production PAM system on Hyper-V until support is official or you have a commitment of "best effort" support.

Subject: PAM 4.x on Hyper-V?
Colleagues,
I know it is not officially supported, but as Azure is runing on customized Hyper-V engine, do you think PAM will run on Hyper-V as well? I am running it on Oracle VirtualBox in my lab successfuly even when it is also not officially supported, so maybe anyone already tried Hyper-V as well in tehir lab? Or anyone have an dea if Hyper-V is in the roadmap?
Thanx!
