I am in need of changing the name/ text of OWNER or be able to add the TEAM MEMBERS drop down into a new custom field.  I need to make this more novice friendly. this is in the User Story and Task levels.

Hi Jennifer.

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, Rally doesn't have the ability to pull up the Team Members into a drop-down field. Below is a screenshot where you can see the supported types. You can have a drop-down that will include users, but there isn't a way to constrain this drop-down only for team members.  This request in itself is certainly worthy of an enhancement request. I realize you have a concern that these requests aren't being answered and I looped in Rusty Lloyd to assist you with that.

With that said, one thing you can do is create a custom page, share it with your team/teams and include an app that will show you the team members of the selected Rally project. This app is a simple HTML code, which you can easily deploy into the Custom HTML app (available in our App Catalog). I'm including a screenshot of this app below. This app will show you the team members of the Rally selected project (in that case you can see the selected project is called: "Parent A".   This page can come handy so that when using these user drop-downs that are not constrained to your team members (as you requested) then you can at least check out this page to know who these team members are, and search for them within that drop-down. Hopefully this can help somewhat. If interested in this app, please let me know and I can send you that HTML with the instructions to deploy it.
