IM in DMZ

I need to use the IM but I have a uim installation in the cloud, it won't let me use the IM, do you know what configuration to do for this?

Do you have the required ports open between the server where IM is installed and the primary hub?  Please refer to the following to confirm:

Note also the hub_secure version also has additional limitations/restrictions on IM connectivity
