    Subject:  General Availability Announcement for ValueOps ConnectALL/Insights Release 3.3

     

    On behalf of Broadcom, we appreciate your business and the opportunity to provide you with high-quality, innovative software and services. As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success, we regularly release updated versions of our products. Today, we are pleased to announce that ValueOps ConnectALL and ValueOps Insights Release 3.3.0 is now available for On Premise and SaaS customers. 

    New features for ValueOps ConnectALL 3.3 include: 

     

    Password Policy - Implement API Key Aging

    Managing authentication is a central part of the security policy. As a ConnectALL Administrator,

    you can use the following capabilities to improve the protection of the system from unauthorized

    users accessing the system resources or sensitive information:

    • Option to Configure expiry date for the API keys and allowed maximum active API keys in Password Policy
    • Deprecation of API Key for the existing customers based on the default settings in the Password Policy
    • Added expiration to the API keys for more robust API security.
    • Support of Multiple API keys

     

    Clarity Adapter - Support Timesheet

    Clarity OOTB Adapter supports the synchronization of Jira's WorkLog with Clarity's Timesheet

    • In the new Clarity standard adapter, Timesheet synchronization has been introduced that allows you to synchronize WorkLogs entered in Jira to TimeSheets in Clarity and provide better visibility in Clarity.
    • The new Timesheet synchronization will have capabilities to sync the efforts logged in Jira to Clarity along with the Work Descriptions entered in Jira.
    • This offering will provide a comprehensive and flexible approach and give real-time visibility of the ongoing development work.
    • This offering now allows you to:
    • Time efforts created / Updated in Jira : <Entity> : WorkLog will be synced to Clarity : Task : Timesheet
    • In Jira - Multiple time entries are created for the same day - the Time will be aggregated and sync to the respective date in Clarity.
    • Jira : WorkLog - Work Description will be synced to Clarity : Task : Notes.

     

    Automation - Field mappings - Import/Export fields & field configurations

    • Export / Import capabilities of Field Mapping is to speed up time to value, users can just create a New Automation, add Connection, Entity Mapping and reuse the Fields mappings.
    • Ability to export the fields and import on an Automation on the same system, different systems, different ConnectALL versions, different environment SaaS or OnPrem.
    • All Fields, Fields - Value mappings, Field configurations can be exported and imported to different automations of the same adapter combinations.

     

    SaaS Multi Tenant - SSO Support

    Introduced the SSO Support for SAAS Multi Tenants

    • Support for ConnectALL SAAS Single Sign-On integrates with industry-leading directory services
    • Azure Active directory
    • Okta
    • PingFederate
    • This eliminates redundant administration of user information. This integration simplifies administration and provides unique and comprehensive security capabilities.

     

    Jira Cloud enhancements - OAuth2

    • Support of OAuth 2.0 or Open Authorization for Jira Cloud.
    • OAuth 2.0 allows a website or application to access resources hosted by other web apps on behalf of a user.
    • Ability to authenticate Jira with OAuth2 along with the currently supported Basic / OAuth
    • This is a BETA feature to get feedbacks

     

    New Rally Adapter (Beta)

    We have added a new Rally adapter for beta with expanded functionality:

    • Enhanced multi-project mapping to support moving work items between projects within the automation
    • Support for new entity types: Risk, Test Case Result
    • Dynamic support for portfolio items
      • Adds the customized portfolio item names to the entities list
      • Supports all levels of the portfolio item hierarchy
      • No alias required
    • Enhanced support for time box synchronization by value
    • User lookup and synchronization by Rally username instead of display name

     

    Customer Voice Enhancements

    We have added the following enhancements and fixes based on customer requests:

    • When syncing the Remedy Tasks to Jira SubTasks opted to use the default work order.
    • Issue while syncing weblink & hyperlink with _URL between Jira and TFS.
    • Issues while creating new connections for SSO enabled Clarity.
    • Fixed the storage space before proceeding the installation in windows and linux.
    • Slowness observed while validating the connections and loading the Entity Mapping/Field Mapping screen for Doors(REST)
    • Source Public Comments were getting edited while synching new comments from Jira Software to Jira software project.
    • Value Stream ecosystem map visual doesn't save anymore
    • Automation modify issues on adapters Jira and Salesforce with Flow filter.
    • The formatting issues were resolved when there were words with line break and an external link between HTML and ADF for adapters Rally and Jira made the Automations not release the locks.
    • [ValueOps Insights 1.0] Fixed the duplicate records creating when changing the field mapped to Insights system_id

     

     

    New features for ValueOps Insights 3.3.0 includes:

     

    UI/Installer: individual dashboards for FLOW & DevOps/DORA

    • Provide 2 additional Out Of The Box dashboards: Flow Metrics & Dora/Devops

     

    VSMI 1.0 : CDM/UI: make Insights work for Rally customers

    • Automation between Rally and Insights, will synchronize data when the tickets have Blocked with the Blocker details.

     

    BETA - This is a beta feature and may contain bugs, errors and/or other issues. This feature is provided "AS IS, WITH NO WARRANTIES." Broadcom does not guarantee the availability of this beta feature, and any outages or downtime of the beta feature will not count towards service credits pursuant to Broadcom's service level agreement. There is no guarantee, representation, or obligation that the beta feature will ever be made generally available in future releases of the product.

     

    If you are an On-Premise customer, you can download your copy of ValueOps ConnectALL/Insights Release 3.3 online at Broadcom Support where you can also utilize Broadcom's case management system. To install your product, follow the installation procedures

    for your product at Tech Docs. If you are a SaaS customer, your environment will be automatically upgraded to the new release at a scheduled time following the 3.3 GA release date. Customers can expect a follow-up communication with additional details related to automatic upgrades. If you have any questions or require assistance, please contact Broadcom Support.
