Edit xml file - ca-standalone-full-ha.xml

Hi Broadcom,

Is it possible to add a new entry on this xml file? ca-standalone-full-ha.xml
If yes, would you mind share with me the steps to access the file and edit it?

Hi Atifah,

You didn't mention the application type, is it Virtual Appliance or Standalone.

I am assuming it is Virtual Appliance, in vApp there is no direct way for editing the ca-standalone-full-ha.xml as vApp was designed like black box, but they can do it through jboss-cli, by adding user and traversing through the subsystems and use jboss-cli commands to update the xml.

Other way is raise a ticket with engineering, let us know what changes you need we will validate them and incorporate them if needed.

1. What sort of entry are you looking to add? For example, if this is for defining a new datasource, vApp has a dedicated alias for doing so - please review the manual for addJBossDatasource command https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/symantec-security-software/identity-security/identity-suite/14-4/virtual-appliance/administering-virtual-appliance/using-the-login-shell.html
2. We can use jboss-cli.sh to adjust ca-standalone-full-ha.xml - a collection of examples can be found here https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/235313/how-to-change-the-account-name-used-to-c.html as well as https://community.broadcom.com/communities/community-home/digestviewer/viewthread?MID=780828

It is very important you verified carefully the planned change, since incorrect syntax would stop Wildfly from starting all together.
