Hi all,

It is possible to play a sound in Operator Console when a new alarm is generated (like on Spectrum)?

Third party solutions are also acceptable.

Currently, UIM does not support these audio inputs, but we encourage you to open an idea on our ideation platform:

If it gets enough votes from the community of users, we would be able to bring it to the product backlog.

There is the Alarm Notifier in Infrastructure Manager. Look into Tools->Alarm Notifier. You will see a new icon in the system tray and you can use it to configure the alarm notifier.

Dashboard Designer has the ability to play sounds on detection of alarms.  I've used this feature on Dashboards displayed around an office many times.
