CISCO-SMI lsystem , Cisco CPU Monitoring

    Hello -

I am trying to troubleshoot some CPU monitoring woes with Cisco Catalyst devices.

If I understand the documentation, there's some "intelligence" or similar applied to SwCiscoIOS, Cat_38xx, etc model types for CPU monitoring. It appears to be monitoring cpmCPUTotal values for the device CPUs (In the case of the 3850, 9300 - instances for CPU 1000/2000/3000).

I want to monitor instead the lsystem values (instances 56/57/58 on timing but aggregate value for process-based/control plane CPU) available under CISCO-SMI MIB.

In the MIB tools, nothing appears for attribute mapping whatsoever, so I am not able to manually set the CPU value for threshold polling, or setup a watch or anything. I'm not sure where to go from here.

It's also somewhat implied that if a OneClick user hits "Reconfigure" in the right click menu on a model instance, that they'll end up resetting whatever I override the CPU monitoring source as. Is this true?
