can we pass parameter to the backend vara object?

Hi team,
I have a back end VARA object (VARA.BACKEND.FILE.CNT).
i want to make it reusable so looking to parameterise it.
in that way i can call it in all my required events.

trying for something like this
:SET &CNT# = PREP_PROCESS_VAR(VARA.BACKEND.FILE.CNT, "need to pass input here while calling")

Any help ?

Hi Aravind,

have you already tried to use object variables (defined via :PSET in the main routine before processing the backend vara object)?
