Symptoms:
Migrator Error during installation of Linux Harvester. A check of the /opt/CA/NFA/MySql/data/<computername>.err file indicates the following error:
Error while loading shared libraries: libaio.so.1 cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory
Without the library installed the MySql installation cannot complete and the respective Harvester databases are not created.
Environment:
NFA 9.3.3
RedHat 6.7
Cause:
Missing libaio.so.1 library. MySQL 5.5 works without libaio.so.1 until 5.5.9. NFA 9.3.3 uses MySQL 5.6.22
Resolution/Workaround:
Install the required library
Uninstall the Harvester software
rm -rf /opt/CA/NFA
rm -rf /var/.com.zerog.registry.xml
Reboot the server
Reinstall the Harvester software
