Process ID in High Memory & High CPU Utilization Alarms

Hi Team,

 

For high memory and high CPU utilization alarms generated by CA Spectrum, is it possible to include the process ID of the processes that are taking high memory or utilizing high CPU in the alarm description?

 

If yes, kindly suggest how it can be achieved.

 

Version of CA Spectrum is: 10.1.2

Hi Balram,

 

Spectrum raised the High Memory or CPU alarms basing on the attribute values of NRM_DeviceMemoryUtilisation and NRM_DeviceCPUUtilisation attributes.  So we will not get the PID which is causing the issue.

 

Typically clients would be configuring the process monitoring on the important servers which can consume Memory or CPU.
