  • 1.  Start the Agent after reboot

    Posted Jun 12, 2021 08:04 AM
    Hello Community,

Please suggest how to start the agent automatically after reboot the system. Please note down we haven't installed Service Manager and Service Manager Dialogue. So, we are starting the agent manually every time after reboot the system using below command.

    nohup ucxj??? 1> ucxj???.log 2>&1 &

how to define agent process at reboot level?

    Hey Eshwar,

You need to write your own solution. And it will strictly depend on what platform you have your agent installed.
Usually such things are handled via daemons defined in init.d or systemd. Or even via cron

Usually the ServiceManager is the 'service/daemon' and not the agent itself.

Is there any specific reason why you are not using the SMGR? In the ServiceManager package from the vendor there is a sample script for "Automic ServiceManager Daemon".

    Location - ucsmgr???/bin/automicsm

    Cheers!
