CA certifies the major releases, subsequent upgrades using minor release versions such as SP2 etc
are expected to work therefore, CA supports all subsequent updates to the major releases that it
certifies unless a specific release such as Oracle 12C R1 is specified in the compatibility matrix.
In that instance since R2 has not been certified (and we have discovered problems with this update)
then it is not supported.
So in this case since CA lists MS SQL 2012 as certified with R12.6, then SP2 is expected to work.
