  • 1.  How to Change the Site id

    Hi Team,

    This question is not specific to ServiceDesk, I need to understand few things as below:

    1. Is the chat option still available while raising a ticket Broadcom/CA?
    2. How do we map a new site ID to our email/Broadcom userid so as to raise tickets.
    3. Download URL for CA Service Desk r14.1 (and patches) and 17.1

    No. The Chat service has stopped.

    Not sure exactly what you are after, but you should still have access to the main Broadcom Support page here:
    https://www.broadcom.com/support

    And then be able to navigate to the "Customer Support Portal" link at the lower left - but if you can't access that, then use the "Contact Us" links on the same page.

    Of course, the old CA Support phone number now goes to Broadcom Support, so maybe try that first and they'll be able to log a ticket into account questions like this. That's probably easiest.

    You'll need access to the Broadcom Support site that you're trying to access as above in order to download products. But once you do, it is under the Downloads section. Here is the link as I see it: https://casupport.broadcom.com/download-center/download-center.html
