    Hi everyone,

I am pleased to announce that the Edge Forum archive is now available on the Support Online product page for CA PLEX and CA 2E.  It has been posted under the Recommended Reading section and is called CA PLEX/2E Edge Forum Archive.

Darryl[left]  [left] We've made the old Edge data available at plexinfo.net/2einfo.net.  Still need to check some of the data.   As it is a work in progress, any feedback is welcome. Access is via[left]  [left] http://edge.plexinfo.net  or http://edge.2einfo.net[left][left]

Wow, that looks great.  Excellent work Jeremy!

Do you mind if I add that link the floated message on this Board?

    Thanks,

Thank you ![left]  [left] Couldn't remember how to do a contains search on a field but found this in the archive:[left] EDTFIL functions do not support record selection natively. It does support use of PGM.*Record selected (I just checked... because I thought it did not) so you could code your own tests in USER: Initialize subfile record (existing record). To do a contains search, you would be well advised to create an EXCUSRPGM that calls QCLSCAN. That's what a normal "contains" search does anyway. [left] - Virgil [left]  [left]  [left] Adrian[left]

Any chance of getting some thread details in the spreadsheet so that we can build the thread view from the table - such as sub-forum name, thread id, message id and reply for message id??[left]  [left] Once this is provided - then it will not take much effort to convert it to an XML file with a XSLT file to display much like the original forum.[left]  [left] Without this the information in the tables is worthless and it has all been a waste of effort.[left]  [left] Regards,[left]  [left] Darryl[left]

We were provided with multiple backups of the data some more current than others.   As soon as I can find out which one is the most current I'll get the data updated.   Theres a few Access databases include which look like they may include some older threads as well...   Unfortunately paid work has to take priority for the moment :smileysad:[left]
