Email Password reset link to user

​Hi Team,

I am trying to set the password self-service with a simple twist. Currently, after email verification, we send the user a temporary password.

Instead of the temporary password, we want to email a link to the user to reset their password. (the most common implementation of password reset).

Could you please advise on how this can be achieved using CA IDM?

I am not clear on the use case you are describing can you please provide more details.

It sounds like you would just need to give the customer the link to the Forgotten Password Reset task which is a public task.
