Changing Value_when_red for alert generation

Hello Team

 

As per document, for any pingable device we can able to generate alert for device not responding to polls when we change their Value_when_red to 7.

 

I have noticed that in our case we are also able to generate alert when Value_when_red equals 2 or 7.

 

Can someone please let me know, how this can be done.

Hi Kapil,

 

CA Spectrum will assert a critical alarm on a pingable model if the Value_When_Red attribute value is different from 0 (zero).

The reason we should set 7 is because of Rollup condition.
