    I could not find any documentation on how to silently install Provisioning Directory, Provisioning Server and Connector server stack? Only CA Identity Manager silent installation documentation is there in the bookshelf. Has anyone performed silent installation on the above applications?

    Uninstall Connector Xpress Silently

     

    Found this bookshelf article. Not really very obvious but has the commands on what options are there to record a response file and run an action in silent mode. Hope this comes in handy for anyone looking for similar solution.


    To install/uninstall and record at the same time:

         <setup_file> -options-record install_response_file

    To not install/uninstall and record at the same time:

         <setup_file> -options-template install_response_file

    To install/uninstall in silent mode with response file:

         <setup_file> -options install_response_file -silent
