I followed indications from another topic I found:

I placed the gif and jpg files on the niku\webroot\ui\evolution2\images folder. I'm still unable to get them on the application (I'm not replacing images just adding new ones as it was made in Clarity 12.1, btw I did not perform that implementation else I will know already how to proceed :*))
Is there anything else I need to do? It says on that previous topic I must reapply them but I do not understand what that means.
OK that was my post I think you are referring to....
#1 - that was the method in the "old GUI"
#2 - what I meant by "having to reapply" the
customisations is just that a
CA-provided UPGRADE or PATCH may well reinstall the directories / files that have been
customised. Therefore you may need to
reapply customisations after an upgrade

Since its a completly different interface are my "old" icons still good or do I need any other new format for them?
and YES this is the "problem" you are now hitting - this has all changed with the "new" GUI. :sad
I have only experimented a little in V13, but so far it seems that we can NOT add any new icons to the system (the icon lookup is still there in the system but adding new values to that lookup doesn't seem to get me anywhere, unlike in V7/8/12 where I could add a new value and map that to an image file in niku\webroot\ui\evolution2\images)
However we can REDEFINE the existing icons/images. Obviously this is a CUSTOMISATION and you need to recognise the problems that CUSTOMISATIONS give you (not least of which if you are trying to create a new icon and you choose to replace an out-of-the-box icon then you have lost that out-of-the-box icon!)
The image files you need to edit are in the
[font=Courier New]xxxxx\webroot\ui\uitk\images[font] directory - and all the images are contained in a single file (or two) - look at
[font=Courier New]odf.png[font] and
[font=Courier New]nde.png[font] files - you can just edit those in a reasonable image editor (eg PS or GIMP, but
not MSPaint as it does not have the colour-depth and you will just mess up the file).
:what: And just to stress the point - this is a CUSTOMISATION - not "supported" / speak to CA support / be prepared to back it out / reapply after upgrades etc etc etc

PS - I'd be interested if anyone knows how to "extend" the image library in V13 rather than just "replacing" the images by editing the files above?
