Restore Spectrum Database With Certain Models

Hi All,

 

I have Spectrum 10.2.1 configured in a fault tolerance environment. We plan to re-design it , according to the latest best practices. 

 

We have configured the Service Dashboards functionality in Spectrum and would need it in later format also

We would do a legacy restore to start from scratch. Is there any way to do a legacy and still save the Service Dashboards data.

Initializing the SSDB to the legacy db will erase all your models from the database, including the SM data. I'd suggest looking into the Modeling Gateway to export the SM data (Export Topology Data from CA Spectrum - CA Spectrum - 10.2 to 10.2.3 - CA Technologies Documentation ) and then re-import it after you finish your topology re-organization, but test beforehand to make sure that information is correctly extracted and then imported back.
