Ca System Edge Aim plugins

Hi,

 

To configure  and enable the following modules on Ca Spectrum I need a server to install each Aim plugins or I can install one server with all Aim? (Cluster Manager, Virtual Host Manager, Active Directory and Exhange Manager, Service Performance Manager, others).

Hi Ricardo, you need to install one single AIM on each SystemEDGE machine.

 

The following document about Cluster Manager says:

"Important! The HACMP AIM must be the only AIM installed on the SystemEDGE host. The SystemEDGE host itself cannot be a node in your managed cluster environment."

Important! The MSCS AIM must be the only AIM installed on the SystemEDGE host. The SystemEDGE host itself cannot be a node in your managed cluster environment.

With regards to ADES Manager the following document says:
Important! Managing a single host by multiple ADES AIMs can introduce performance issues. For more information, see the CA Virtual Assurance for Infrastructure Managers Administration section.

Virtual Host Manager doesn't support overlapping technologies.
