CA API Gateway virtual appliance is truncating the syslog information to SIEM on UDP protocol. is there any setting change required to avoid syslog being truncated?

    Thanks,

    Jo

    Hi Kamala,

Sounds like you are running into the problem described here: Outbound syslog messages truncated at 1024 bytes in size

Exactly it's due to max size allowed for UDP protocol. You need to find an other way to push logs, like jms protocol for example

But our siem allows syslog configuration with UDP only and we cannot use JMS to push the logs. Do you see any issue with changing syslog's max allowed limit?
