    Hi,

we have an issue with one of the servers we use to run processes.
Despite no changes being made to the config we are seeing strange behavior. The Process Engine status shows a little grey icon instead of the usual yellow and it does not seem to be picking up any processes to run.

Earlier, one of our developers noticed this error on the front end - An error occurred while executing custom script....
cannot find Java class 'core' as a tag library

    So far we have tried:

    1. Restarted the bg service - this seemed to work for a while. The status went yellow again and it seemed to be picking up processes. But after a while it stopped again and icon went grey.

    2. Restarted server. Same outcome as above.

    3. Removed the bg service completely and then re-added, deployed and started it again. Same outcome.

Next we tried looking in the bg logs but we cannot see anything out of the ordinary therw which can explain this issue.

I have opened a support case but just alos wanted to see if any users here might have some pointers as to what we could try next?

    Hi,

we are using Clarity 15.8.1 on Windows server 2012 R2.
We have 4 Production servers, and on two of those we have bg service deployed and running.

The first bg server is running fine.
The second one has a "cannot determine status"

The bg system log isn't showing us much. We can see that when we stop and start the service that it establishes the db connection ok and there are no errors at all in the entire log file.

So strange.... Do you have some certificate installed in the java in that server??. Maybe it´s the issue there....

    Best regards,

    Mario

We also have since tried the steps recommeded in this article. It seemed to work for a while, we saw active processes running and completing. But after about 20 minutes it stopped working again.

This turned out to multicast issue and we have suggested to move to JDBC Ping
