1.Configuration

we need to have at least 1 working agent (Unix or Windows)

In file customer.config Looking for “queuetrigger” section as below

AgentVVNSUPWIN01 need to be available on the ARA’s client

Login object: ARA_QUEUE_LOGIN need to be available on the ARA’s client and include the entry for agent VVNSUPWIN01

Make sure that the time zone object TZ.UTC is available in the ARA’s client

2. How to use Queue in ARA

Now customize the QUEUE as your requirement

Can be recurring or specific of time.

If all the set up gone successfully

In AE we ‘ll have the object as below

Now we need to assign the queue for specific Profile in the Application

Could you clarify where the agent 'VVNSUPWIN01' is installed in you setup? For example, is it installed on your ARA Server? We currently have the following confirguration in customer.config:

 

<queuetrigger agent="AGENTNAME" login="UC4_RL.LOGIN.ALL" />

 

I have followed your guide, step-by-step, but unfortunately our scheduled queue never run at the scheduled time.

Hi, 

The agent VVNSUPWIN01 can be any server/machine as long as from the server/machine you can access the ARA url,

so if you working on the environment with multiple firewall rules, I would suggest to use the agent install on ARA server.

Please also remember that java should be in environment variable on that machine.

If It still not working then please post to this thread, I would happy to answer all of them.

it would be very cool if you don't tell us how you do something, but if you start with what you actually want to achieve.

If I just want to customize my deployment, I add a new action or an additional property...

 

So, what is it (and honestly, I really don't know) that you want to achieve here? And why?

Hi Martin,

 

Basically with queue, you can run the execution multiple time, so it works mostly like the same queue concept as in the AE.
