Has anyone encountered this error in the smps.log before? Building a new lab VM, I installed PS 12.52.1.5 on a clean Win2k8 machine with DSEE7 policy store. I let the installer initialize the policy store, the install logs showed that the xpsddinstall and xpsimport commands all completed successfully with no errors. Rebooted, PS started up and fell right over.

    Hi Richard,

It seems, there is problem getting the security context.

Please try enabling policy server trace as well as xtrace and provide us the policy server trace logs.

How to Use xTrace - CA Single Sign-On - 12.52 SP1 - CA Technologies Documentation

    Regards,

Ah, I guess it would help if the policy store directory was started on boot... explains why everything worked swimmingly for the install but didn't work after the install completed and rebooted the box. That's what I get for trying out a new CR at 11pm at night!

    Thanks,
