UIM Port Monitoring

Hi, 

I am trying to monitor up/down of a specific port. 
Has anyone set this up in UIM?
I have looked into net connect and port check but I don't see an option to specify a port.

Regarding Net_connect probe, just a note.
This is for TCP and ICMP only.  I don't believe it would be possible to test UDP ports.
