Hi
After upgrading spectrum from 10.0 to 10.2.1 we are getting this error while opening the spectrum control panel.
“SPC-OCP-10033: could not connect to the location server on <<spectro server name>>”
Steps performed while upgrading the spectrum from 10.0 to 10.2.1
1. Forcefully closed the spectroSERVER.exe process from the Task Manager as it was not stopping for almost 3 hours since we clicked on stop spectro server on control panel.
2. Once spectro server is forcefully stopped we ran the setup of version 10.2 base
3. Installation ended with below post-installation error;
“Migration file dbsavefile.SSdb was not found or is not readable.
Backing up catalog and models to db_20170812,1.SSdb
ERROR: This application has been started using a Spectrum database
which was not gracefully closed. The application will now shut down
to allow you to load and initialize a previously-saved good database.
SPC-DBS-20095: c:\win32app\Spectrum\SS-Tools\SSdbsave.exe Error: Unable to open database.
** Error during backup to db_20170812,1.SSdb”
4. After that we ran the setup of 10.2.1 version
this also ended with this below error;
5. After completing above we just tried to open Control Panel and it is not opening but giving this below error;
“SPC-OCP-10033: could not connect to the location server on <<spectro server name>>”
I think issue may be with the force full closing of spectroSERVER.exe process from the Task Manager and data is corrupted. Can someone please advise us how fix this issue and make spectrum up and running again.
