  • 1.  Actual Cisco Model for 3750E, 3750X, etc

In Spectrum the Cisco Catalyst 3750 switches all show as Cat37xxstack - I need to collect and categorize the actual model.  How can I collect the specific model types, like C3750X-24P, C3750E-, etc.  Is this something I can find via the Attribute Editor or somewhere else?

This classification is performed based on the SysObjecID of the device. If you right click your device, you can select under Utilities -> Device Certification. Check your SysObjecID on all of your devices. The attribute where this information is stored is DeviceType (0x23000e).

    HI Kring-CA,

the stacked switches may be composed of severel, even different types of switches (e.g. 24/48 port models). If you need to have the full hardware inventory information, you could check the Entity Information subview on each device. This will show the vendor type description as expected. For multi-device lists, check out OneClick -> Locator -> Chassis, where you'll find stack related searches with 10.x.

    regards,
    Raphael
