  • 1.  Discovered DNS Name instead of Discovered IP for Pingables in Topology

    How to get the Discovered DNS Name instead of Discovered IP for Pingables/ IP Devices in Topology. 

    Pingables are work stations with no snmp.

    On the VNM model, in the Component Detail, open the SpectroSERVER Control.  On the right hand side is a "Model Naming Order".  Change the order to have Name Service first.

    I did that actually yesterday and reevaluated the models in spectrum but no luck.
