    Hello there,

    Happy New year!

I have configured the basic SNMP and the Tactical SNMP on my API Gateway 8.4, and have tested the snmpget, walk and trap commands successfully. However, I wanted to configure the alert (snmptraps ) being sent out when a particular policy / service reaches the threshold on say "@policyViolationLast24Hours" or "averageFrontEndResponseTimeLast24Hours".

I couldn't find out a way to configure that thru Policy Manager/ Dashboard / ESM in my research so far.

Any help on that would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Vaseem

Hi vasmu03. Please take a look at Send SNMP Trap Assertion - CA API Gateway - 8.4 - CA Technologies Documentation. That should cover it. If not, please provide more details on the services you want to monitor and triggering conditions for alerts.
