  • 1.  How to disable CPU and Memory alarms for all Devices ?

    Posted Jan 17, 2017 09:16 AM

    Hi,

I would like to know how can I disable the CPU and Memory alarms that are configured by default in "Thresholds and Watchs" for all devices?

This monitoring will be done by Performance Management.

    Thanks.

Log into OneClick as an ADMIN user and do the following:

    1. Run the Devices -> All Devices search

    2. Select ALL of the results in the Results tab

    3. With ALL of the results selected in the Results tab, right mouse click on any one and select Utilities -> Attribute Editor from the menu

    4. Expand the Attributes -> Thresholds -> Device Thresholds folder and select all entries in move them to the right

    5. Set the value of all these entries to zero "0" and check the "Set As Default" check box

    6. Click the Apply button

This should set the current value to all the models selected in the Results tab to zero which disables CPU and memory for these models. In addition, by checking the "Set As Default" check box, any future models of these types will have these values set to zero.

There is also a setting on the VNM in the SpectroSERVER Control for “Device Thresholds”.  Setting it to disabled will do it across the board…
