Is it possible to snooze an alarm via a script

Now that global snooze is available but only to admins Im wondering if this is viable as a way to snooze alarms without admining lots of users

Flow

1:   User adds a status of SNOOZE to an alarm

2:   Script looks for status containing the string SNOOZE:until-xxxx in the status of the alarm

3:   If snooze found then place the alarm into snooze for all users until xxxx is reached

 

So first part is a way of making a CLI , VNMSH  or REST CALL to do the appropriate - that is snooze alarm until time X reached

I did some digging and cannot find where snoozing an alarm is possible outside of the OneClick GUI.
