  • 1.  ELK Stack implementation

    I need to implement ELK stack with my Gateway. Can someone please help me on below points:

     

    -- From where i can get the ELK software

    -- Steps to integrate the ELK with Gateway

    -- Any supportive document

    I have been referring to given document shared by you.

     

    While moving forward with the installation I had an issue with the logstash.conf file which is not available on the GitHub.

     

    So Please help me to get the required file or any latest document for integration.

    Hello Dustin / Seenu -

     

    Thanks for sharing the ELK integration with API Gateway. This is more to get the API gateway's run time metric and file beat metrics.

     

    i have 2 questions related to Application Performance Monitoring -

     

    1) is there a way we can use Elastic APM and do a distributed tracing for all API calls? We are using CA Layer 7 appliance. Also we are not using Log-stash, meaning our APM agent should be sending the metrics (Spans, Transactions, Error, etc) to Elasticsearch directly...

     

    2) Right now, Elastic has APM agents for Java, Go, Ruby, etc.,  what's the CA Layer 7 Technology stack which should be instrumented / monitored by the available APM agent?
