Flowchart search and link to...?

Hello,

2 questions:

- Is it possible to search for a Flowchart (like a Ctrl F)? Question is for both File and Repository mode.

- Is it possible to create/generate a link to a Flowchart so that this link could be available in another application tMEAG, ARIS etc...) and clicking on the Link would open the Flowhcart?

Hey Olivier,

In terms of search:

1. A search bar for the repository does exist for ARD 2.5 and above, but only operates on items retrieved from the server (i.e. their parent must have been expanded)- you can see a screenshot here:
2. You can also search within files for particular things, either with 
   1. Ctrl-F for a text filter
   2. Other filters
   3. Global (file) Search:
      
3. For files, there isn't anything extra other than your standard Windows OS search as a part of the Open from file dialogue as it stands - what had you envisioned? 

 

In terms of external linking: 
I think what you are describing is a URI system, similar to something like: spotify:track:0mZmDoU1EHZ3QKHggvxVzx ? - If so, nothing like that exists today, but I'm pretty sure it has been considered in the past, so it might be worth submitting as an Idea here on the community for the Product Team to review.
