  • 1.  LDAP indirect integration

    We have set up the indirect LDAP integration.

    We use a LDAP technical account to connect o the LDAP server.

    The "indirect LDAP integration" feature relies on the belonging of LDAP users to LDAP roles or groups.

    In our case, there are no LDAP groups or roles defined.

     

    What is the required configuration in the applicationContext-acegi-security xml file to make "indirect ldap integration" work even if no LDAP roles or groups are defined ?

    Hi ,

    Yes, we are aware of the document about LDAP integration.

    Everything work as designed but indirect LDAP integration requires that LDAP roles and groups are defined.

    Our challenge is to make it work in case that no group or LDAP roles are defined.

    From my understanding , currently its not possible. When working in indirect LDAP integration mode you need to configured LDAP groups and roles.
