  • 1.  Linux Oracle Client

    Hai,

     

    We are upgrading from Harvest Version 12.5 to version 12.6.

    At this moment we use an AIX sever but will use a Linux server for the new version. The database is on AIX, Oracle 11.

    Normally we would go for the latest version of drivers/clients in the development environment, but we come across a date problem on the Oracle client version 12.1.0.2.

    According to the information we have found about this, it's all on a windows environment.

     

    Will the Oracle client have the same problem in the Linux environment, and be save and use the 12.1.0.1 version or is it OK to use the 12.1.0.2 version in the Linux environment?

    We have encountered the same problem with the Oracle drivers on Linux for version 12.1.0.2.0, so staying with 12.1.0.1.0 is the best bet.
