Subject: General Availability Announcement for CA ITAM - Software Asset Manager 4.2.0 capabilities

Today, we are pleased to announce that CA ITAM - Software Asset Manager 4.2.0 capabilities are now available.
New features for CA ITAM - Software Asset Manager 4.2.0 include:
· New Combined Metric Engine for Microsoft Windows Server: The metric engines "Microsoft Windows Server" and "Microsoft Windows Server Processor" have been merged into one. The new metric engine "Microsoft Windows Server" contains all models and editions of the replaced metric engines.
· Dashlets for Table Views on Dashboard: Dashlets can now show the number of filtered records resulting from previously saved table views. This allows to answer questions like "How many installations for a specific product exist at a certain cost center?" or "How many not yet activated licenses do I own?".
· New Connectors: The following new standard connectors are available:
Citrix Edgesight 5.4: This connector enables importing usage data from XenDesktop and XenApp, if managed by Citrix Edgesight. This connector allows to import devices, launched executables, and installed applications on the Citrix server.
BDNA Normalize 4: This connector enables importing devices and raw data into the application using a direct database connection.
BDNA Normalize 5: This connector enables importing devices and raw data into the application using the import preprocessor "bdna."
