  • 1.  Multiple CPU support for spectroSERVER

    Hello,

     

    Is there any plan to bring spectroSERVER process to support multi CPU? We are in 2018. I have a server with 8 CPU and I am waiting about an hour to start spectroSERVER having CPU 100% (single CPU) while activating models...

    Hi Patrick,

     

    This community post explains it much better then any others that I have read.

     

    Spectrum 64-bit still running mainly on 1 CPU? 

     

    Basically the answer is rewriting Spectrum to take advantage of multiple CPUs would offer minimal improvement over the already way that Spectrum uses moot to distribute the load.  The post that I have linked above offers a much more detailed explanation and is well worth a read.
