Containers in Spectrum?

Hello All,

 

When I do a multiple discoveries Spectrum is putting all the devices into one container.

 

How do I create a container in one click on the spectro server?

 

Or how do I separate the discoveries?

 

The only options i have in the discovery console under "Select a container" is the default container and new devices under that container.

In the Universe view, click on the New Model by Type button and select the container type you wish to create; Network or Lan.

 

 

Then, when you run you discovery, you can select the container to model the devices in.

You can manually create them.  In the Topology view of the Contents Window, select the second icon in – “Create Model by Type”.  Generally from there you would pick Network (or LAN).

 

Then in the Discovery configuration, you will be able to select that container.
