CA Spectrum Oneclick stopped working after java update

Hello folks,

 

We have a CA-IM environment here and after latest java update, 1.8.131, our consoles stopped working. Version running in the oneclick server is 10.1.1.0.64 according to .history file. 

 

 

 

Any thoughts?

Could it be the issue described in knowledge document TEC1691042 - After installing java jre update 1.8.0_131 or higher, users can no longer launch the Spectrum OneClick client.

Thank you very much Joseph, the link workaround is working fine while I wait to upgrade Spectrum in the next maintenance window.

Hi Daniel,

 

Take a look at your OC servers administration pages, there is a menu item called 'Oneclick Client Configuration', try adding the new version to the 'Supported JRE Version' list.

I checked that first, but already have the "+" symbol, that is supposed to allow newer versions of this update freak called java. :]

 

In this casse, the error is related to MD5 that spectrum uses in the .jnlp console launch file.
