Disable PDA Interface For CA Service Desk Manager 12.9

Hello, 

2 weeks ago I noticed that PDA mode was being launched when opening an external link to our instance of CA Service Desk Manager 12.9.

I'm assuming a recent Windows 10 patch or IE 11 group policy change has caused this. Does anyone know how to disable PDA mode?

I see a comment in idea https://community.broadcom.com/participate/ideation-home/viewidea?IdeationKey=297270a3-2550-4369-b8f9-8794c019f7b1 but I don't know what form they are talking about.

STEPS TO RECREATE
1. Make Internet Explorer 11 your default browser.
2. Ensure you don't have any IE 11 windows open.
3. Paste a CASD link in a Microsoft Word document such as:

http://server/CAisd/pdmweb.exe?OP=SEARCH+FACTORY=cr+SKIPLIST=1+QBE.EQ.ref_num=459915

4. Click this URL via Microsoft Word, and CASD PDA mode appears.
