  • 1.  Is the newest Jasper Server version, 7.2, Compatible with Service Desk Management 17.2.0.9?

    Hello ... We currently have CABI (Jasper) 7.1.1 installed within our CA Service Management environment, version 17.2.0.9.  Is jasper 7.2 compatible with our version of Service Management?  The reason I ask is that when CABI 7.1 was installed, it defaulted to C:\Program Files\CA\SharedComponents\CA Business Intelligence.  The Jasper 17.2 install wants to default to C:\Jaspersoft\jasperreports-server-7.2.0.

    If Jasper 7.2 is compatible with SDM 17.2.0.9, do I need to uninstall CABI 7.1.1 beforehand?  Are the integration steps the same?

    Hi Scott,

    There is no mention of Jasper 7.2 in the r17.2 Supportability Matrix just yet. I'm not too certain if this will be covered with the up-coming RU10 (r17.2.10) release:

    Thank you for the response.  For now, I have upgrade from 643 to 711.  If 720 is included in the next SDM 7.2 rollup or SDM 7.3 full install, I will upgrade again at that time.

    As of right now, JasperSoft 7.2 is only certified/supported with SDM 17.3

    Since Jasper 7.1.1 is now marked as EOS, will CABI Jasper Reported 7.2 be certified to run with 17.2 until May next year ?
